MASSAGE

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

Hot Stone

Warmed stones are placed on certain areas of the body, such as acupressure points. The stones are used as massage tools. Along with other massage techniques, hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.

Aroma Therapy

Experience deep relaxation as soothing aromatherapy oils and gentle massage techniques help ease tension and calm your senses. This massage is designed to promote wellbeing and create a peaceful escape for both body and mind. Perfect for those seeking a restorative break.

After care:

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours, as massage is a detoxifying treatment

  • Drink plenty of water to assist in the elimination of toxins from the body

  • Eat a light diet to assist the detoxification and healing process

  • Get plenty of rest. You may feel tired after treatment

  • Gentle exercise – postural exercises can help with muscle tension as well as exercises that will assist with mobility. Yoga is a suitable and gentle option.
